The Assessing Office is located in the main office of the town hall. It is in this office that the property files are kept and updated, copies of maps, deeds and property lists in paper or disk format are provided and Yield taxes and Current Use penalties are figured here.

The assessing office prepares the information that is given to the Department of Revenue Administration to process the equalization ratio for the town and creates the town report.

We provide information to the public by phone, e-mail, as well as over the counter. The Assessor holds office hours on Wednesday, by appointment.
