The Town of Barnstead has an immediate opening for a full-time Highway Dept. laborer.
This position is 40 hours per week but requires 24 hour availability and includes a
complete benefit package. Salary will depend upon qualifications and experience.
Responsiblities include but are not limited to, operating and maintaining heavy-duty
trucks and equipment, performs varied skilled and semi-skilled work on construction and
maintenance projects, assists in manual labor related to public works construction and
maintenance and words under general supervision.
The selected candidate must successfully complete pre-employment requirements
including a physical, drug screen and criminal background search.
Applicant must possess the following requirements:
-Must be 18 years or older and at least a high school graduate or equivalent
-Must have a valid NH CDL-B License
